About

Devon April 2012 031

I am a freelance journalist and editor based in Lausanne, Switzerland.

Currently I’m editor of The Local Switzerland (TheLocal.ch), a Swiss news site in English.

In addition I write for Swiss and UK titles including The Guardian, The Independent, The Telegraph, FRANCE magazine, Adventure Travel magazine, Media Planet Switzerland and Time Out Switzerland.

I used to be editor at London’s top theatre website, Officiallondontheatre.co.uk, for which I interviewed numerous acting and directing stars, reviewed shows and edited two print publications and an e-zine about family theatre.

In 2012 I was theatre editor for Fest magazine (Festmag.co.uk), covering the Edinburgh Festivals, and a judge for the 2012 Amnesty International Freedom of Expression Award.

I’m also an experienced digital project manager, with clients including the Guildhall School of Music & Drama, the Society of London Theatre and London & Partners.

I’ll happily tackle any subject thrown at me, but I generally gravitate my writing towards the arts, travel and food.
